My picture of the day- Opened

I was able to get a lot of shots from a bouquet
of Stargazers my honey got for me.
Different angles and distances. These flowers
have a lot of depth to them. The colors on the petals adds to that. I hope you like
them as much as I do.

My picture(s) of the day- Gazing on a Stargazer

I used a Polaroid effect on the first picture. I like using that effect. I like the over all hazy blue tint. It makes it look like an older photo. From a different time.

My picture(s) of the day- Close Up

Nw 10th and Johnson

This is a shot of the Eco Trust Building in the Pearl. On the 2nd version I used a Polaroid effect and faded it out a little. I did the shot on an angle mainly because of the bright sun that morning. But I like how it turned out.

My picture(s) of the day- Up a Tree

I took this picture by standing at the base of the tree and leaning into it to take the picture.

My picture(s) of the day- White Stars

These flowers remind me of tiny white stars.
The second photo I used a Polaroid effect
on it. I like how it changed the green.

The first version I used a vintage 60's effect on. The second I used a Heat Map effect and then faded it out some.

My picture of the day- Gladiola

My honey brought me some Gladiolas. He thought
they would be great for me to take pictures of.
At first I wasn't liking how the shots were turning out.
Then I remembered I have all kinds of buttons
and knobs on my camera. So I played around
with the Aperture and they started looking
pretty good.;-) Hope you think so too.

More Mums

Don't you think these Mum flowers look like Dahlias?

My picture of the day- Full Bloom

These Bell Flowers were in full bloom hanging
over the vase. I used a pale blue background.

My picture of the day - White Azalea

I used a local contrast on the 1st picture.
It brings out more detail in the Azalea and the leaves.

My picture(s) of the day- Pansy like a sunset

I normally do 2 versions of a picture when I edit them. I used a zoom effect on one of these. The colors remind me of an amazing sunset I have yet to see.

Springing to life

With this photo, the background is a Church.
I liked the contrast of the new life on the branches
against the roughness of the cement bricks.
The blue and green colors makes it soothing to
the eye.

My picture of the day- 'In the Courtyard'

I like how the flowers look against the rough cement and moss. This shot was taken right out front in our courtyard.
